On this day in Classic Hits History, Maurice Gibb, the youngest member of the Bee Gees, died after suffering a heart attack in 2003. He was 53 years old.
Following his death, surviving bandmates (and older brothers) Barry and Robin promised to carry on the legacy left behind by Maurice. However, they have not toured or made an album since his passing.
