The New England Patriots looked bad in the first half of their Christmas Eve game against the Miami Dolphins, losing 17-0 at halftime. But the team adjusted and Tom Brady led the offense back into the lead as the defense shut Miami down in the second half as the Pats escaped Foxboro with a 27-24 win to clinch a first-round bye in the AFC playoffs.
