No Christmas presents from the Boston Celtics for their fans. The Green lost their season-opening game against the New York Knicks by a narrow 106-104 score at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Kevin Garnett missed the potential game-tying shot at the buzzer, then got into a brief altercation with former Celtic Bill Walker. Garnett will not be punished for the incident. The Celtics have to get in gear quickly, as they head to Miami for a Tuesday night showdown with the defending Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat.
