Tim Thomas made a season-high 47 saves as the Boston Bruins handily defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-2 on the road, marking the second straight win since losing 2 consecutive games. Daniel Paille scored twice Rich Peverley scored for the second straight game while Andrew Ference assisted on two goals. One of the team’s great surprises so far, Chris Kelly scored his 12th goal of the season in the second period. The Bruins now hold the No.1 seed in the Eastern Conference, tied in total points with their next opponent, the Philadelphia Flyers.
