New Duran Duran Music Video: “Girl Panic”

Duran Duran took a step behind the camera for their new music video for “Girl Panic,” recruiting famous supermodels like Cindy Crawford to portray them in fake interviews spliced in with the actual song. It more resembles a makeup ad than a music video, but it doesn’t make the song any less catchy.
10 Things You Didn’t Know About…
Prominent music video director Jonas Akerlund headed the project, produced in support of the band’s new album All You Need is Now.
Naomi Campbell is also among the models cast to portray the members of the band, who (let’s be honest) wouldn’t be quite as photogenic during an interview with cameras flashing in their faces.
“Girl Panic” was among the songs on Duran Duran’s setlist at shows this past summer and fall, and for good reason – the song itself is quite catchy…But it’s still no “Hungry Like the Wolf”.
